Indian DIRECTOR

I was saved July 22, 1956 at the age of 16 in a small church in Beaufort, South Carolina.  My family was stationed at a nearby military base and I was just looking for a place to meet friends.  I met my dearest friend that day, the Lord Jesus Christ.

I met my wife, Gayle, in 1958 and we faithfully attended church together while dating, but after our marriage, I allowed my Christian life to suffer.  God did not give up on me and used my wife and young daughter to get me back into church.  Soon after I rededicated my life to Christ, I felt the call to the ministry and attended Immanuel Baptist Bible College, in Atlanta, GA.  After graduating, we took a pastorate in North Carolina.  I loved the pastorate, but the Lord began dealing with our hearts about missions and we soon surrendered to the mission field.

My family and I spent fourteen years as missionaries to Canada.  During this time we established two fundamental Baptist Churches, outreach ministries to the Indians, and television and radio broadcast ministries to the English and French speaking in our areas.

In 1985, the Lord began dealing with my heart about taking our ministry of missions in a new direction.  Throughout our years in the ministry, I have had a burden not only for the mission fields of the world, but for the missionary families themselves.  The Lord used this burden to bring about Global Fundamental Baptist Missions.

Our chief purpose at GFBM is to aid the missionary in getting to his field of service, and to be a help to him while on the field.  GFBM has missionaries around the world who are reaching souls by establishing local churches, Bible studies, Christian schools, and Bible colleges.  We also have missionaries who build orphanages to reach the homeless and poverty stricken children, and we actively support the training of national pastors and workers on the fields so that they can reach their own people and get into areas that are not accessible to American missionaries.

In addition, I have taken on the responsibility of the ministry in India.  I am traveling and representing the need and spending time on the field of India in order that we may build churches, schools, and orphanages, as we work to reach souls in India with the Gospel of Christ. 

We would like to thank our brothers and sisters in Christ, who faithfully support our missionaries, as well as those with other mission boards.  We all share the common goal of winning the world for Christ.
