Dear Friends,

Rainy season has affected attendance with all the rain from the different typhoons that have passed the island the past month. Youth attendance only dropped slightly from an average of 70 to 66 this month. Last Saturday the youth had 79 in attendance for their music competition. Lynn was one of the judges for this as you can see in the picture below. I had the privilege of baptizing three people on the 23rd of the month. We visited several today that also need to be baptized. We plan to have another baptismal service towards the end of October that will include several new believers from two of our Bible studies.

We have been going through a few trials recently, but we praise the Lord for His faithfulness and strength. I will be preaching in John 18 tomorrow on the betrayal and arrest of our Lord. What a blessing it is to see that the Lord was in control in the midst of all that and that He is in control of our circumstances, working to accomplish His plan and purpose! We praise the Lord for the lives that are being changed through the ministry of His word.

I am currently meeting with several of our Bible Institute students and outreach pastors on Thursday mornings for a time of Bible study and prayer. This has been a time of great blessing. We are praying for revival in our churches. Please pray with us.

Our visas were finally approved, and we can officially stay for another year. Praise the Lord! Thank you again for your faithful support and prayers.
