to thailand September 12, 2005 Dear Co-Laborers in Christ,
Greetings in the name that is above every name, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Psalmist says in Psalm 107: 1, "0 Give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."
We do want to give thanks unto our Lord and Saviour for His goodness. Over the past couple of months many souls have been saved and have expressed a desire to learn the Bible. There have been well over 50 professions of faith and all desiring to learn more. These are people who for the first time in their lives have found peace and that peace is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Please help us pray about getting the needed Bible study materials to them. Please continue to pray for Brother Nitipat Thamee and Brother Veelakun. These precious men are such a blessing to our ministry and us. We are currently able to support Brother Nitipat but help us pray for the money needed to support Brother Veelakun. Both of these young men love the Lord and are very hard workers. God has been good to bring them our way. They both have a great burden for their people and are worthy of any help you may be able to assist us with.
We ask for continued prayer for the people in the village of Ban Mae Mon. This village is horne to two tribes of people, the Lizu and Akba. There are approximately 150 houses in this village and it is filled with many children. This is Brother Nitipat's home and there is no church for them to worship. Our prayer is to be able to raise the needed $5,000 to build a church for these people.
We also ask that you remember the people of the northern part of Thailand, Ching Mai and Ching Rai provinces. They are in the flood season right now and it is very difficult to travel.
Thank you for your prayers for Holly's mother. She seems to be doing much better and we are grateful for the Lord's loving care.
As we travel we pray for souls to be saved and God to be magnified. Your faithful support and prayers have been such a blessing to our family and we want you to know that we do not take them lightly. You are ~ach in our prayers and may God richly bless you as only He can. In His Service Mike and Holly Hazelton |
