"Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools" ( Ps 84:6 )

" And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day" ( 2 Chron. 20:26 )

Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings from Haiti in the name of our most wonderful Lord Jesus.
It is over 3 months since the last prayer letter. I meant to write sooner but time did not permit since I was caught up in different spiritual activities and not quite equipped due to lack of electricity, computer and printer, time just flies. Some people think that the rest of the world is like America but in reality it is not. So, it is very important to understand when your missionaries are late keeping you posted.
There are several valleys mentioned in the Bible but I would like to draw your attention to 2 of them: the valley of Baca and the valley of Berachah. The 1st one speaks about the valley of weeping and the 2nd one speaks about the valley of blessings. As we journey home, we will face those 2 valleys. We will face all kind of griefs and sorrows as well as blessings. God will not let us stay in the valley of Baca permanently so we don't get discouraged and He will not leave us in the valley of Berachah for a long time so we don't think that we are already home.
In my last prayer letter, I stated what had happened in different manners to our family. As we strive to serve the the Lord to the best of our ability, the old serpent is not at rest. He is using different schemes to get us discouraged, one of his best weapons( discouragement). He is using pride to make some of our key men rebel against basic principles. God gives me enough wisdom to deal with the situation. Failing in that capacity, he tried another scheme to put us down; on the morning of July 16th, as we left for church by 8:45 and returned by 1:30 PM, we found that thieves had broken into our house and they left the doors open. That was quite a shock for us. They took what they could take and left what they did not need. Romans 8:28 was our verse for the day and we do thank the Lord. We are confident that we will not stay in the valley of Baca for ever.
Haiti News
Though the constitutional order is restored, we are far from any improvement. What we are witnessing are kidnapping and crimes of all kinds. The future of the Island is in the Lord's hand.
School news
We had an excellent academic year. We were able to pay the teachers in Cap-Haitien. We are short of $ 1000.00 to pay the teachers in Limonade.
Church News
We were able to pour the macadam for the church in Limonade. The man who promised the cement kept his promise so there was enough cement for the macadam project. Four people were saved in Limbe and scheduled to be baptized soon as well as some who were saved in Cap-Haitien are schedule to be baptized sometime in August.
Praise
God has provided several hundreds of French Bibles to give away to those who do have a need for such Bibles.
Solar panels stolen back in November 2005 are finally replaced, Praise the Lord!
Prayer requests
God's daily protection as we face unknown threats on a daily basis
Haiti's spiritual, political and economical salvation
Funds to complete unfinished projects
Joselyn, one of our faithful workers has lost $ 125.00 monthly support. Please pray that God will restore that money somehow
Personal support badly needed
Thank you for your daily prayer and monthly support. May God keep on blessing you.
In Christ
