Prayer Letter Update for

July, 2007

"The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not saved!"  Jeremiah 8:20

Dear Praying Friends and Financial Supporters:

We safely returned stateside on May 22nd.  God granted us favor in so many ways to obtain our exit and transit visas, and airfare tickets so that we could fly back home out of Moscow.   We were pampered throughout our eleven-hour flight back to Atlanta in Business Class — what a special treat from our Lord!

We trust that you have been keeping up-to-date with our quarterly prayer letters.  The past two years have flown by; starting to learn the Russian language, active involvement in evangelism and discipleship, the ESL program to reach new contacts, weekly Bible studies, directing the Institute program in our local church and the list goes on.   Our two Bible studies are bearing fruit and we are excited about the churches that will be started from these groups.  It has been exciting to see what God has done in a country where religious freedoms are severely restricted.

Since our return to Georgia we have been busy adjusting to life here — setting up house-keeping, phone contracts, preparing our mission display and prayer cards, calling to schedule meetings and renewing friendships. We need to report to our supporting churches and share what God has done these past two years.   At the same time we will be raising additional funds for ministry needs.  There are some major purchases that are needed so that we can effectively develop programs and initiate church planting steps.   We especially need to supplement our personal support level for the cost of living in Belarus has risen considerably.

Part of the support we are raising is for three young adults that God has brought to us.  One young lady is already working with needy families; orphans and at-risk children.   She has some support but needs more.  One young man is already actively engaged in evangelism and discipleship, and plans to assist us in a full-time capacity.  Another dedicated young lady is preparing to join us full-time to translate materials for our new Institute and College programs.  These three are faithful Belarusian believers that have discerned God's call, and are willingly following Him.   But they need financial assistance; we are seeking to raise that for them.  Maybe you or your Sunday School class would undertake even a portion of their monthly support.

While we are stateside, please address all correspondence to us at:
316 Fayette Villa Court, Fayetteville, GA, 30214.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support.  May God richly you for your faithfulness.

Yours in Christ's Service,
