Prayer Letter Update for

October, 2007

"Multitude, multitudes in the valley of decision" Joel 3:14

Dear praying friends and financial supporters:

Greetings to each of you from both of us here in our travels in Canada and the United States.  Since our arrival back here we have been busy on the road.   One of our home-goals was to visit each of our sons and their families.  We scheduled several church meetings in Canada to accomplish this end; Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Manitoba.   It was a great joy to see our families again, and to present our mission successes in more than a dozen Canadian churches.  To God be the glory for what He has accomplished through us.   Our faithful God has given us good health and traveling safety as we have covered hundreds of miles in these last three months.  We are continuing to schedule more meetings and to visit our supporting churches (and new ones) as we prepare for our speedy return to Belarus.

Our team partners (Kent and Janet Robacker) are still continuing on with our work in Belarus.  They keep us updated regularly as to the ongoing work in the ESL program, regular Bible studies and the discipleship progress of these believers.   We have been saddened to hear of the closing of many doors of mission opportunities.  In recent weeks there have been several more missionaries and organizations forced to leave the country.   We are thankful for the door still open for us to return there next year.  As you know, we are raising ministry support for church planting and the college program that we are developing.   We anticipate returning by July 2008 to commence these important steps.  Our weeks until then are continuing to be busy with travel and presenting our ministry goals in church services.   You may contact us by email (rlw.whiteside@gmail.com), by cell phone (678-633-2740) or by mail (316 Fayette Villa Court, Fayetteville, GA, 30124).   By any means we would love to hear from you, if we do not see you in person.
