In the history of the church the eschatological or prophetic portions of Scripture have suffered more from inadequate interpretation than any other major theological subject. The reason for this is that many theologians have turned aside from a normal and grammatical literal interpretation of prophecy to one that is non-literal and subject to the fanciful whims of the individual.
Dr. Midgett has done a wonderful job bringing eschatology to a level where all can understand. His literal approach and vast experience as an evangelist, pastor, missionary, professor, and theologian makes him more than qualified to write about end time prophecy and to clear up the false approach of interpreting prophecy. |
