Dear Pastor and Church Family,

We thank God always for your zealous prayers and fellowship in the ministry with us here in the Philippines.  It is because of folks like you being used of God that we have persevered this long.  May we continue serving the LORD together that we might abide in His favour. Amen!  In spite of our short-comings and inefficiencies, God has been faithful to us since our December 2010 prayer letter.

During the last week of December, we hosted an overnight youth activity with a total of 350 young people and 50 pastors and workers for an entire night of fellowship, fun and GREAT preaching and timely seminars.  What a joy and a blessing to have even a small part in the lives of the next generation of church leaders; instilling in them convictions and integrity necessary to live their lives for His honor and glory; teaching them the principles that will help them build homes that will effectively propagate the gospel to this dying world.  Amen!

Our Missions Revival, led by my good friend, Lowell Griffin of Faith Baptist Church Dagupan City, Pangasinan, was held last January 29th .   The LORD moved among our people through wonderful preaching of His word and we had a monthly increase of $250 a month from the previous $850 a month commitment; paving the way to increase the support of our current 52 missionaries and by His grace, add more missionaries.  We were doubly blessed since the revival meetings also boosted our weekly soul-winning crew from 12 to 24 people.  We are truly blessed to have compassionate people in the ministry who truly have a heart for lost souls.  Such blessings make the daunting task of witnessing for Christ an enjoyable experience of unity and camaraderie with our good people.   Many souls have been saved during visitation and many guests have ventured into our services as a direct result of soul winning.  Please pray for us as we follow up on these souls and try to get them in church, baptized and serving Him.   What a joy it is to serve the LORD with gladness! Amen!

We broke down our old nursery portion of the building last week and are set to demolish the old auditorium next week.  The plans are done and we’ll submit them to the city engineer’s office today; please pray they don’t ask for a big “tip” or bribe for the processing.   Pray also that God will raise up the additional needed funds to complete the foundation and auditorium (we are $100 K short).  God always comes through in the time of need and displays all of His glory; and we are confident that He will again.  We are currently averaging again about 175+ adults and 40+ children in our Sunday services, with an average of 5 first time visitors and 2 salvations every Sonday.  We are in awe of how God continues to bless even in times of great trial and tribulation.  Truly God giveth the increase!   Amen!

We are excited for what God has already done for us this beginning of 2012 and we anxiously look forward to all that He has for us to do in the next months.  It is our desire and prayer as well for you all to have even a greater and more intimate relationship with our ministry.  We would like to invite to pray about the chance to make a visit to the Philippines, see the work, and have an actual hands-on experience in the ministry.  We would love to have you Pastors over to preach some special meetings, men’s group to help on the construction of the new auditorium, young people to have a mission’s trip, or maybe a new graduate of ministry or education that might like to have a year-long experience as a short term missionary.  In short, we would love to have anyone interested come over and spend some time with us here and work in the ministry.  Please send us an email or give us a call if you are interesting in talking about the opportunity to serve here in the Philippines.

We just received word from one of our first supporting churches that they will be forced to quit supporting us this year due to financial struggles; that brings our lost partners to a total of 15 churches since January 2009.  Notwithstanding, we are grateful for their fellowship and their zeal towards missions all through these years.  We don’t know how the LORD will do it, but we are sure of God’s provisions until our May 2012 furlough. Please do pray with us that God will sustain us and abundantly bless us with many souls saved and disciples here in the city of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. Amen!

In an effort to be more efficient with our communications we would like to send our letters through the internet as much as possible and according to the need of your church.  If you are willing to receive our bi-monthly prayer letter by email, please let us know by sending us a quick message at gormleys@live.com .  Thank you so much for your help and cooperation.
